Junior Golf Camp is designed for every skill level
Upon arrival at camp, all campers are evaluated by the Director and Staff and placed in a program that will address their unique instructional needs. All golfers are grouped into one of the following skill levels:

Level II - Intermediate Golfers - This one's for golfers with some prior playing experience, building greatness upon existing foundations. Specifically designed to help you develop and improve your swing, this program also helps you develop a positive attitude, instructs you on course management and teaches the rules and proper etiquette of the game.
Level III - High School Golfers - Being a member of a great team is a powerful and memorable experience. Leading that team is the best experience of all. This program is a special camp geared to help you attain a higher level on your team or to give you the skills and confidence to make your high school team. Specific attention is given to swing development, course management and developing a positive competitive attitude. This camp is designed to sharpen your game and increase your self-confidence.
Level IV - Tournament Golfers - If you've already got the goods, here's how to make those goods great. For tournament level players with handicaps of 12 or less, this program addresses all aspects of competitive play including proper practice routines, mental and physical preparation and the opportunities for college golf. What Will Our Campers Do On The Weekend Between Each Session?

Trip I - Saturday, July 12 (between Weeks 1 and 2) We travel Danvers, MA, home of Coco Key Water Resort, one of the few indoor water parks in the country. We'll spend the day there and have dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe prior to returning to Winchendon.
Trip II - Saturday, July 19 (between Weeks 2 and 3) We journey approx. 1 hour from camp to Boston and visit historic Quincy Market. Quincy Market is famous for its revolutionary war setting, shops, food and great street entertainment. Campers and staff enjoy dinner at famous Durgan Park Restaurant.
SUNDAYS are spent relaxing with a late sleep-in followed by brunch and then an opportunity to do laundry, swim, golf or just putt on our putting green.
Our ESL Program
Offense-Defense draws campers from all over the world and therefore we are proud to offer, in conjunction with The Winchendon School, a fabulous ESL program. These classes are held two nights a week between the hours of 8:00 and 9:30 PM and are taught by a select group of talented teachers.
These courses are NOT compulsory, but optional, to all sleepover campers.
The ESL program can be included in your camp tuition for a one-time, nominal fee of $40. Please shade in the ESL box on the camp application.
Medical Staff
Offense-Defense has qualified doctors and nurses on call 24 hours a day. A hospital is located within minutes of the Winchendon School. A full time Athletic Trainer will be available 24 hours a day. This camp must comply with regulations of the MASS dept. of public health (105CMR430.00) and be licensed by the town of Winchendon Board of Health.
Required Golf Clothing And Gear
We require proper golf attire, including collared or t-shirts, soft spiked-golf shoes and socks. You must provide your own full set of clubs, golf balls, tees, gloves and rainwear. You may bring a shag bag containing approximately 50 practice balls for your free time, optional practice. We will, of course, provide practice balls at all lessons.
General Clothing
Non-golf dress is most casual. Anything clean and neat goes. A recommended check list will follow approximately one month prior to camp.
Laundry And Linens
Campers are asked to bring their own pillow, blankets, and linens (sheets, pillow case, and towels). Coin-operated washers and dryers are available. Campers will be assisted by counselors if and when help is needed. We suggest you bring a few extra large towels for the pool.
Pro Shop
For the convenience of our campers, there is a mini-pro shop. The pro shop features such items as a wide variety of golf balls, gloves, hats, caps, shirts, and other necessities essential for golf.
Other Activities - Non Golf
Swimming, softball, basketball, soccer, touch football, volleyball, hiking, and movies. All campers will enjoy these on-campus activities. Campers, accompanied by their counselors, will be allowed to go into the adjoining town of Winchendon nightly and will also be taken to a multi-cinema theater each week.
Off-Course Supervision
Campers will be supervised during non-golf hours by our resident, adult staff. All non-golf activities will be adult supervised and qualified lifeguards will be present at the outdoor swimming pool. There will be adult counselor supervision in the dorm. Other camps fall short in this area! We do not! Your child will be cared for on and off the golf course and practice range; day and night.
Spending Money - Allowance
All campers' spending money will be kept in our camp bank and available at designated hours daily. Spending money may be used to pay for laundry, evening snacks, pro shop items, and off-campus trips.
